 Sid Kaufman has been in the licensing industry for nearly forty years. Starting out
at Deka Plastics as a licensee for plastic housewares, Kaufman worked is way to
Los Angles where he oversaw the licensing for Alf.  Soon thereafter he moved to Universal where he became President of Merchandising, managing programs like Jurassic Park,
Miami Vice, Universal Monsters and Knight Rider. 

In 1996, Kaufman started Total Licensing Services where he managed licensing programs for Got Milk, Bananas in Pajamas, The Wiggles and Lisa Frank. He later joined Nelvana where he oversaw programs including Maurice Sendak’s Little Bear, Franklin the Turtle and Beyblade.  In 2014 Kaufman joined UTA where he works on Blippi, Wengie, Flour Shop and a variety of digital and traditional talent including George Lopez Chingon Kitchen. 
Kaufman also packages kids animation including “Maria Carey’s All I Want
For Christmas is You”, Romero Britto, Precious Moments and Astronaut Mark
Kelly’s Moustronauts.

Kaufman is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Maryland where he was an
all-conference goal keeper.  He lives in Los Angeles with his wife The Travel Mom and his two grown children.
